Garden City desk · last torn 28 August 2026 · Nour El Sayed · the door remains the authority
STUB is an independent Garden City desk. We are not the ministry, not the palace ticket window, and not a man with a laminated badge in a car park. When a house’s board and a sentence here disagree, the board is the object and we are last month’s paper.
Doors we lose to
- egymonuments.gov.eg — the ministry’s public board for hours, closures, and the channel a house names.
- grandegyptianmuseum.org — campus notes and timed doors when the palace runs a clock.
- bibalex.org — the library’s own machine, including the small antiquities house inside it.
- Paper and glass at Tahrir, the Coptic Museum, Islamic Art, and NMEC — still the last word on the morning you stand there.
How a misfiled stub is corrected
Write [email protected] with the house, the hour, and what the board said. We correct hours and door-kinds. We do not argue with a guard. The dated margin is Updates.
Pictures on this origin are first-party files, resized here, credited to Pexels and Unsplash in the footer. They are not ministry photography and they are not palace press kits. If a picture is wrong for a house, write us and we will pull it.
This host serves static HTML, CSS, type on this origin, and a short first-party script. There is no WordPress install to break, no plugin stall, no hidden frame, no second body for crawlers. If a search engine ever paints a “hacked site” badge on a copy of these files, look for injected spam that we did not write — then mail us.

STUB dates every hour. The house at the glass still wins. A slot you miss is paper. A window you treat as a suggestion is how the square cooks you. We do not sell tickets and we do not hold GEM QRs.
